LawAdvisor was founded in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia with a fearless and ambitious belief: that everybody should have access to justice.

We hypothesised that the high costs, inefficiencies, and difficulties of obtaining legal help could be overcome simply by providing greater access to legal information, and by providing everybody with real-time access to high-quality, affordable lawyers online.


Our mission has since been supported by thousands of lawyers and has allowed us to expand and set up offices across the globe. We've also attracted high-profile investors and partners who have shared our mission to transform legal service delivery.


We're still not satisfied. The potential exists to completely revolutionise the practice of law. The start of this decade has delivered LawAdvisor with a new mandate: to overhaul and transform how lawyers work, and how people interact with and consume legal services, with state-of-the-art legal practise management technology to (i) increase efficiencies; (ii) automate routine processes; (iii) increase transparency; (iv) bring the legal practice to the 21st century.

We Need

A Midas Touch


Working closely with the CEO and in partnership with the Product team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy plan, with the objective to drive new business growth as well as managing and growing current accounts, through an end-to-end sales process.


You will use your network to increase engagement and brand awareness to a selected and suitable target audience. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from lead generation, to pipeline qualification and management, to product demonstrations and pitches, to negotiating and closing deals. You will be comfortable establishing relationships with various legal professionals within the industry, including those at the C-Suite level.


You will also play a part in managing and maintaining existing accounts by supporting them through their onboarding journey, collecting and distributing relevant feedback, and liaising with internal teams to ensure we are always striving for improvements and ensuring customer satisfaction.


You and the Product team will set the business vision and strategy of the company in terms of sales targets and act as the company's voice to ensure LawAdvsor is well-represented in the legal tech space. You’ll define and communicate the business’s KPIs and targets to the company’s senior stakeholders, analyse patterns in consumer and market behaviour, and subsequently define data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimise the business’s commercial performance.


You have the commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyse sales department performance. You will also be responsible for the management of individuals reporting to you. Coaching, mentoring, removing blocking issues, and supporting them in their professional development to help unlock their full potential and grow.

  • Utilise tools in undertaking detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to management. Through various research and analyses, you’ll identify areas of improvement in sales strategies with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improvement of sales and business profits.

  • Monitor and observe the brand and make forecasts, identifying new trends ahead of the curve, hence, offering the business a competitive advantage and keeping it ahead of its competition in the market.

  • Work alongside both the Customer Success Teams and Product Teams right from product conceptualisation through to its testing and launch and, therefore, carefully understand the product's selling proposition, making it easy to tailor strategies around that product.

  • Build strong relationships with external partners and consumers and regularly interact with them by attending workshops, and seminars and hosting events,

  • Develop close relationships with key influencers within our industry.

Job requirements

You Should Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, law, or any other related field.

  • 3 years+ significant background in business development, sales, or account management within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment,

  • Experience with standard Sales KPIs and levers that impact performance.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced and evolving, dynamic environment.

  • Proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation, while displaying exceptional leadership skills and confidence.

  • Experience evaluating product/market situations and analysing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches.

  • Exceptional communication skills enabling effective communication between interactions with consumers and external partners. You should be able to tailor messages in relation to the audience at hand and to present even the most complex messages in clear, simple, digestible, and convincing terms.

  • A keen interest in conducting research and data-driven insights coupled with outstanding planning & analytical capabilities. You should have an in-depth knowledge of the business’s product as well as standard strategic, analytical, and marketing concepts.

  • Exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire a group in a unified direction and vision.


Bonus Points

  • Postgraduate degree in law.

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or any other related field.

  • Previous experience in a startup environment.

  • Experience working with a remote team.

  • Experience working in the legal tech industry.
